Let’s Talk Embroideries

Atelier Anavo’s Autumn Winter’24 Campaign encapsulates Stories of the Rich Heritage Textile Culture of Incredible India which can be tracked back to the Indus Valley Civilization, which flourished in the northwestern part of the Indian Sub-Continent around 2800-1800 BCE.

Most of India’s embroideries can be classified into rural, tribal, folk, and elite depending upon who executes and spreads them. Fashion is always evolving and one cannot deny the influence of traditional embroidery designs on many existing methods.

The Embroidered Motifs have been inspired from the Hindu Mythological characters each having their own stories and importance for their existence and also depicting the theme of the Jungle and implicating the beauty of co-existence which balances the cycle of nature.
